German parts supplier MANN + HUMMEL has announced the first half of 2011 financial statements, to achieve double-digit sales growth year on year.

     MANN + HUMMEL's first half sales rose 20%; Although material costs, MANN + HUMMEL EBIT still ranks high; the number of employees worldwide grew 10% to 14,300.

     MANN + HUMMEL CEO AlfredWeber said: "We plan to 2018 to reach € 3.4 billion in sales goals, strong sales growth in the first half of this year shows that we are close, despite the economic recession, currency instability and high commodity prices may affect our sales in the second half, but we expect to create a new sales record this year.
