Plastic Supplier Solvay Group announced on June 27, Asia-Pacific region to meet the rapidly growing demand for specialty polymers, the company will invest € 120 million plant in China. The new plant will be built in the Industrial Park, Changshu, Jiangsu Province, is expected to be commissioned in early 2014.

     It is understood that China's auto market, promote the development of fluorine rubber demand. The company said the new facility will produce SOLEF polyvinylidene fluoride, TECNOFLON fluorine rubber, specialty polymers, these products are mainly used in automotive, aerospace, oil and gas and energy industries that requires seals in corrosive chemicals and high-temperature environments with high purity and long life.

     Solvay Group, based in Brussels, Belgium, in 40 countries with approximately 16,800 employees and 2010 sales of 71 billion euros.
