According to India's "Economic Times" reported on June 30: French tire brand Michelin decided this Friday (July 1) from the raised tire prices by 4% in response to the second round of this year, rubber prices. It is reported that Michelin is the second time recently raised the price. Last month, Michelin tires on the import of raw materials prices because of rising costs due to price increases of 4%.

     Michelin India Sales Manager Kumar said: "This year more than doubled the price of natural rubber, the rubber accounted for 40% of the cost of imports, corporate profits were substantially reduced, so had to adjust the price of the tire." It is understood that in the past two years, the rubber price from 90 rupees per kilogram (about 13 yuan) rose to 215 rupees (about 31 yuan).
