According to Bloomberg News, Daimler said in a statement that day, as of June 20, Tognum shareholders provided a total of 123.7 million shares for the acquisition. In obtaining regulatory approval, Daimler and Rolls-Royce will likely be completed in the third quarter of this transaction.

     Daimler and Rolls-Royce in the official bid in April this year, the German engine maker Tognum. Previously, Daimler and Rolls-Royce in the local time on March 9 to Tognum out of 3.2 billion euros ($ 4.6 billion) acquisition valuation. But Tognum company said per share price of 24 euros and unreasonable, the company underestimated the value of Tognum.

     Tognum company mainly produces military and marine diesel engines, the company was sold in 2005 until the Daimler Group's operations. Daimler said that through this acquisition, the future of the company truck with a diesel engine will be the main buyers more closely.
