Reporters from the French auto parts giant Faurecia was informed that recently the company announced that it will create another new R & D center in Shanghai, while the R & D center will be completed as Faurecia China headquarters. It is reported that the R & D center covers four core businesses of the three sections, namely, automotive seat systems, automotive interior systems and automotive exterior.

    It is reported that the new R & D center construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2012. By then, Faurecia's these three core businesses of automotive R & D and project the total number of technicians and engineers from the current 400 to 800.

   Faurecia entered China in 1994, currently in 13 cities with 25 factories, four research centers and 6,000 employees. The new start is Faurecia R & D center in April following the emission control systems R & D center in China after the opening of another development project.
