Indian forging company Bharat Forge (BFL) 2010 2011 fiscal third quarter (October 1, 2010 to December 31, 2010) to achieve the 3-digit net profit growth, from 3.8 billion rupees a year earlier rose to 8.3 billion rupees, an increase of 117%.
The third fiscal quarter, Bharat Forge sales rose 52.7% to 75.4 billion rupees; operating profit rose 110%, to 12 billion rupees; before interest, taxes, depreciation and diluted profit (EBITDA) from the same period last year rose to 24.9% 25.5%.
Bharat Forge's chief executive director BN Kalyani said: "Our company has resumed growth, we expect the automotive market in North America and Europe will continue to grow the business and we will continue to expand the non-automotive sales and market share."
Although the United States and the European car market, sales have not recovered to record levels, Bharat Forge still achieve an increase of export revenues 80.6%, to 36 billion rupees.
