German automotive supplier Bosch Group (BoschGroup), said the company plans new plant in India within the next two years to invest 25 billion rupees (about 558 million U.S. dollars) to upgrade its plant capacity in India to expand its business scope and to enhance its R & D capabilities.
According to foreign media reports business-standard.com website, Bosch Automotive Group Chairman Bernd • Boer (BerndBohr) that in the past decade, the company's capital expenditure in India in 2001 to 10 billion rupees (about 22.3 million dollars) rose to 5.7 billion rupees in 2010 (about 127 million), turned more than five times.
Bohr said: "With the next two years to 25 billion rupees of new investment funds, Bosch plans to increase capacity to meet the growing Indian market, the unique needs of our customers."
The company said it will spend 1.5 billion rupees (about 334.6 billion U.S. dollars) in the Indian state of Gujarat (Gujarat) in Sanand to build a production plant in order to control and drive the local production of electronic products is expected to be put into operation in 2012.
