Dow Jones reported that South Korea's Samsung SDI Company (SamsungSDICo.) recently said that, in order to gain a foothold in the European market place, SBLiMotiveLtd. The company is of the company to the German car manufacturer Volkswagen (VolkswagenAG) matters relating to the supply of electric vehicle batteries for consultations.
Samsung SDI, a spokesman said by phone recently: "We are in talks with Volkswagen, but now that the public exactly which supply an electric vehicle battery is still too early, because the two sides continue negotiations."
According to South Korea, "Daily News" (MaeilBusinessNewspaper) reported that the transaction may be reached early next month. The joint venture will be for the public to its 2013 E-UP pure electric vehicles and other electric vehicle supply lithium-ion polymer battery.

The company is South Korea's Samsung SDI and German company Robert Bosch GmbH (RobertBoschGmbH) co-founded the electric vehicle batteries, shares of joint ventures, customers include BMW (BMWAG), Chrysler (ChryslerGroupLLC) and auto parts supplier Delphi Corporation (Delphi). Currently, the company monthly capacity rechargeable battery electric vehicle 5 million group. And the company plans in the next three years upgrading its monthly production capacity of the battery to 40 million units.
