BorgWarner new branch location is located in Brazil, Sao Paulo, 70 km north-west Itatiba City. New plant covers an area of 204,500 square feet (about 19,000 square meters), completed in August 2012, construction works, will replace the current city of Campinas in Brazil, Borg Warner factory.
Borg Warner redistribution of production capacity in Brazil is more conducive to the layout of various fuel companies to provide lower emission technologies, including passenger cars and commercial vehicles are equipped with turbochargers, silicone adhesive fan (ViscousFans) and fan drive components. New plant will also support future production of variable camshaft timing system VCT (VariableCamshaftTiming) and the engine timing system.
