Fiat powertrain joint subsidiaries and General Motors recently acquired 50% of Penske's VMMotori company shares.
VMMotori Company is a supplier of diesel engines. September 2007, GM acquired VMMotori the other 50% stake in the company.
Fiat and GM, said the acquisition is subject to antitrust regulations. The two sides have not yet announced the acquisition of specific prices.
They said that GM and Fiat and GM will jointly drive the management VM, VM's current relationship will continue. Through this acquisition, Fiat will expand its product range diesel engines.
